A presentation of what social groups are represented in my opening sequence and how they are represented

1. Opening Sequence

How does your product represent specific social groups?

2. Class
 My product represents prisoners, who are generally
working class, as often the reason for them committing
crimes is financial or as a result of poor standard of
living.

3. Race
 All of the cast are of Caucasian ethnicity. This is
because it is set in a rural area in England in which
there is not as much ethnic diversity as there is in
urban areas of the country.

4. Age
 The cast is also very young in comparison to the
majority of action films of this mould, especially as
prisoners in films are generally much older than the
characters depicted in my opening sequence.

5. Gender
 My opening sequence also represents a male audience
as it is based in a facility detaining male prisoners and
therefore the cast is entirely male.
