 Multitudes of information for both students
and instructors
 Experts in the subject can share their
information with others
 Organized way to find information
 Instructors can use the most up to date
materials for their students

3.  Time Consuming to locate appropriate
materials for some subjects
 Finding the right mix of OERs for each
particular course
 Does the OER contain relevant and current
information?
 Some people still LOVE textbooks, even with
the high cost
 Difficulty in some students having access to
the right technology to access the OERs
