ORS provides a cost-effective and time-saving alternative to traditional recruitment by reducing operational costs and allowing companies to reach a large pool of candidates globally at any time. While ORS may save money on advertising and recruitment costs, establishing an online recruitment platform still requires initial investments. Research found that ORS reduces the time spent on recruitment from 70 to 37 days and filters candidates automatically. However, the study only analyzed existing literature and did not conduct original empirical research, limiting its findings. Further research is needed to test the algorithms for fairness and understand individuals' emotional responses to ORS.
