2. This explains bag
packing before disaster
happens.
A big part of disaster
preparedness is the
survival kit, which
comprises a bag with all
the essential items in it.
3. Important documents in a waterproof container: Copies of passports,
birth certificates, IDs, insurance, and other essential records should be
kept in a waterproof container and stored neatly in the bag. Along with this
are papers that contain information about emergency contacts.
No-spoil food: No-spoil food means canned food, biscuits, energy bars,
and at least two liters of water. The point here is that the supply needs to
last a week. First-aid kit: First-aid kits need to have medicine (for
stomachache and headache, and maintenance meds), alcohol, band-aids,
compresses (hot and cold), and baby wipes. Toiletries such as soap and
shampoo should also be a part of this.
4. Important devices: Under this category are the flashlight (with at least two
sets of batteries), small radio, mobile phone, and a power bank.
Extra keys: Extra keys for the home and car should be in the bag if people
need to react quickly. Keys in the bag would spare a person time looking
for them.
Evacuation gear: Rain gear, clothes, blankets, and towels are all part of
this.
