Welcome to the 11th edition of the British Water
Members’ Handbook.
It’s been another year of change and challenge for
the UK water industry and, more specifically, for
British Water.
Alec will introduce an overview of LCRIG and its aim to deliver practical solutions to help councils achieve net zero. Stressing the importance of removing silos both in the public and private sector, Alec will show how the lighting sector can team up with others. He will reveal the creation of a net zero working group which ILP members can get involved with.
Presented by Alec Peachey, Content Director, Local Council Roads Innovation Group.
Welcome to the 12th edition of the British
Water Handbook in the 30th anniversary year
of England’s privatised water industry. We have
made considerable progress after decades of
underinvestment and neglect, but as always
there is much more to do.
Whitepaper - Driving shared services excellence in the public sectorinfoMENTUM
In June 2011, an Oracle Shared Services Forum was held in London. IT and Finance leaders from across the public sector gathered to talk about the challenges and opportunities they face in Shared Services programmes.
In January 2015 the World Economic Forum announced water crises as one of the greatest risks to world society. To tackle this challenge, the water industry needs to manage water resources strategically. The Operational Efficiency Partnership model
allows SUEZ’s experts and representatives from partners and clients to establish a team to improve the performance of water and wastewater treatment plants as well as network systems.
