The students and teachers from the General Lyceum of Kalabaka introduce themselves and describe their work on creating an olive paste company called ELitsa.com(enius) as part of the Comenius-EYE project. They decided on the product and company structure. The group visited a local yogurt-cheese factory called TYRAS to learn more and decided to visit again when the partners come to Greece for a meeting. They express excitement about participating in the program and looking forward to the future visit.

2.  First of all, we want to introduce ourselves. The
teachers are:
 Mr Stavrakis Dimosthenis-Director of our school
 Mrs Kalkani Mina
 Mr Ardaniotis Christos
 Mr Derekenaris Grigoris
 The students are:

 Mouzakiari Anna-Maria

3.  Now, as for the job we’ve done:we began with
the creation of the company in our first two
meetings. We decided to create a SA(Societe
Anonyme), so all of us will have stocks of this
company.

4.  Then, we should choose our product. With the
brainstorming procession, and after excluding
many other possible products, we decided that
olive paste is the most appropriate one. We
were all very excited with our decision.

5.  We also found the name of our company:
(EL)Litsa.com(enius)
EL=Ellada=Greece
Elitsa=olive in Greek
Com=comenius

6. After we had finished our job for the first
meeting in Finland, we programmed a visit at
the yoghurt-cheese factory TYRAS. The factory
is located in Trikala, a big city 20 km from
Kalabaka and is one of the most important
dairy factories in Greece.

7.  TYRAS is a large group of companies, with also
includes many factories abroad. We were
shown a PowerPoint slideshow and we learned
which was the main idea for the creation of the
company and how this successful company has
developed over the years.

8.  We all had a very nice time there and we were
helped a lot with the job we have to do.
Because of this, we decided to visit it again on
January, when we all of you come to Greece for
the fourth meeting of this program.

9.  Last but not least, we all want to say, that we
are very happy to participate in this program
and we would like to thank you all for the
good co-operation we had and the fascinating
experiences we lived here, with you.
