Old School in Singapore is an arts community housed in a former Methodist Girls' School compound that has operated since 2007. However, its lease is set to expire in June 2012 and most of the buildings will likely be redeveloped for residential use, as planned in the 2008 Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) Master Plan. This will displace the tenants, artists, and art lovers who utilize the space. The documenters aim to capture Old School's story through photo essays and video interviews on a WordPress blog before it disappears, highlighting the human impact of its closure and what made it a unique arts venue.
