1. Guidance for RSTC on changes to OJT System
The following presentation is to provide guidance to
the RSTC on changes to the OJT System and how to
register and record these changes in SST.
2. Guidance for RSTC on changes to OJT System
After a review in 2004 the OJT system has been updated.
The OJT Booklets (Task Lists) for each job position will no
longer be produced onshore and sent to the rig.
OJT Booklets are available to download from the Intranet.

eOJT System – On-the-Job Training on the Web
3. The eOJT System consists of :-
OJT Modules for each Job Position (some still in
development)
Assessors Guide Overview, RSTC should download and
read first; it explains the OJT system, and gives guidelines
for supervisors. (sent along with this presentation)
Assessors Guides by position for Supervisors, these
guides give the answers you should be looking for as a
supervisor when assessing an individual completing the
task list.
Guidance for RSTC on changes to OJT System
4. The Job Position OJT Modules are similar to what we had in
the past.
The main change however is to the Induction OJT Module
and Safety OJT Module – no longer individual OJT Modules
The original Induction and Safety Module have been updated
and combined to create a new HS&E OJT Module. (1 booklet)
Contained within the new HS&E OJT Module are 8 HSE
Additional Rig Based Training elements.

6. The 8 HSE Additional Rig Based Training elements are not
listed on the Matrix, nor are they listed in SST as separate
courses. However, they are listed in the HS&E OJT Module
Booklet.
Within SST the 8 HSE Additional Rig Based Training
elements come under the course heading of;
HSE Additional Rig Based Training - WW-SF-O-HSEL1

7. At the back of the new HS&E OJT Module booklet there are 2
separate Completion Notification Forms (CNF)

Form B - CNF for the 8 HSE Additional Rig Based Training elements.
When both the task list and the 8 HSE Additional Rig Based
Training elements are complete, please send the CNF’s to
your Region/District Training Administrator.
Please do not send separately, these must be sent together.
The training administrator will then close out the completion
date of both items in Training Wizard.
