2 - BUDGET
2.1 INTRODUCTION
Budget module is used to manage company budget among department. Budget is applicable to in Claims,
Advances, Purchase Application, Payment Vouchers and Petty Cash Vouchers. You can choose to enforce
budget in which module.
The process of the budget module is as below::
1. To access this module, click on the “Budget” module and you will reach to the following screen:

2.2 – SETTING BUDGET PERIOD
1. To access this page, you have to click on “Periods” as picture below:
2. After you clicked on “Periods”, you will see the following page:
3. Click “Add” to add new budget period. You will see this page, after click “Add”. Enter name of
budget period. For example, you can name it as Budget 2020. After done, click “Save”.
4. After you click “Save”, it will auto go to list of budget period.

2.3 SETTING BUDGET ITEM
1. To access this page, go to “Budget”, and click on “Periods”.
2. You will see this page:
3. Click on budget name and you will see the following page.
Descriptions:
Add Root Header Click this button to add header. This setting is like setting up chart of accounts.
Add Chlid Details Click this button to add child details. Once you add child details, you cannot add
child header.
Add Child Header
Click this button to add child header under root header. Header cannot be choose
during create transaction. That is the difference between add child header and add
child details.
Edit Click here to modify details of budget item.
Delete Click delete if you want to delete but please remember, you can only delete if
there is no attachment with the transaction.

2.3.1 ADD CHILD DETAILS/ADD CHILD HEADER
1. Click on “Add Child Details”, you will go to this page:
Descriptions:
Code Enter budget code.
Name Enter name of budget item.
Remarks Put remarks if any.
Order
2. After done, click on “Save”. Next, you can continue untill finish your budget item.

2.4 ADD BUDGET/EDIT BUDGET/ADJUST BUDGET FOR EACH DEPARTMENT
1. To add budget for each department, click on “Dashboard”.
2. After that you will see this page. Click on “Bulk Adjust” to adjust or to add budget amount for department
3. After click “Bulk Adjust”, you will see this page. Please select department first before proceed adjust
budget.

4. You will see this page after choose budget. It will appear the budget code that you done previously.
Descriptions:
Adjustment You can key in amount of budget here.
Is Allocaton Here have 2 types of options, For Allocation & Not Allocation. Allocation meaning that, you
want to allocate the budget for respective department.
Not Allocation meaning that, when you enter the amount of budget, it will goes to Used
column.
Date transaction Date transaction will follow current date.
Remarks You can enter remarks if any.
5. After done, please click “Save”. It will appear like the picture below:

6. You can click on amount to see which transaction use that budget. Example as picture below:

2.5 VIEW BUDGET
1. To view budget, you can click on Dashboard, and you will see the following page:
Descriptions:
A Here you can view budget for overall. After click the icon, you can filter budget period and department.

Here you can view budget by date.
C Here you can view budget for overall company.
D Here you can view budget only for your department.

2.6 CONFIGURATIONS
1. In configurations, you can configure budget enforment for Claims, Advances, Purchase Applications,
Payment Vouchers and Petty Cash Vouchers. You can choose which module, would include budget.
2. To access this page, go to Budget > and click on Configurations. After that, you will see the following page:
3. Please choose which module, you want to include budget. After done, click on Save Changes.
