Introduction
 Today every nation want to grow especially
economically. And the poverty is most serious
issue and obstacle in improvement of nation or
development of any individual entity.
 At the current situation poverty reduction is most
necessary than building of roads.
 The measure and strategies by government of
Pakistan has not resulted in any revolutionary
development.

 The obstacles in reduction poverty generally
includes, govt. policies, role and norms of
society and the important factor is donation
which especially includes in Islam.
 There are various school of thoughts in Islam,
that defined the concept of donation in form of
respective ZAKAT.
The donation Errors
 Generally donation errors means the hurdles in
effectiveness of process of donation, that will be
resulted in reducing poverty and economic
development of community.
 Many preachers of Islam has took this issue on
electronic and print media but sadly no entity look
at very serious issue.

 Donation errors caused and forced many people
to left the funds and receiving as such SADQA.
 The process of donation, now is limited and
transmitted to only for pictures for uploading on
media.
 Every national of Pakistan, has right to live and
right to survive but many politician try to engage
their minds that they are poor, and they can’t
develop.
1. Hypocrisy
 Hypocrisy means that when someone donate some
thing to specific person (especially to poor people),
he try to take picture of receiver of donation with him
for media.
 Everyone is gradually equal, and has all
fundamental rights as compared to MNA, once a
picture captured by donator, the receiver's heart
brakes and he will never try to receive HELP
publically for protection of self respect.

•Look at previous two images!
•If you are receiver, you may feel very shame, and you
will try not to receive as such in future.
Our donations should be HIDDEN as per Islamic
laws.
• Donators who donate only for and capturing should
be advised to donate in form of hide.
2. Unbalanced Measures
 The measures and strategies that are used by
donators are no longer to reduce poverty in
Pakistan
 Look at the Islamic golden era, in age of Khilafat no
poor existed in Medina for Receiving ZAKAT.
 We have to establish strong, equal and well
balanced measures for the donation, that will be
resulted in equal distributions for all.
3. Negative Mindset
 Public’s mind set is created that receiving
donation is the act of shame.
 This caused by the people who take
pictures with poor women and upload to
social media.
 Donation is the process of human rights
work, not a act of gaining political mandate.
4. Choosing person who are
not eligible
 In context of donation process, a lot of factors
concluded and directed to choosing those
persons who live easily, and they are not
MASARAF of our donations.
 Many persons wants to donate in family first,
but they have elaborate that they are in line of
poverty__or__not??
 We have to try to seek poorest person of our
community for donations.

 When the donators choose persons for
donation, they many-times biased with their
family and community.
 If their donation will donated to normal (not
poor) person, the person who has nothing to
eat and nothing to wear will not receive
anything to fulfill his fundamental needs.
Conclusions
 In reduction poverty, donation is key factor.
 The errors are role of donators that
negative point includes the hypocrisy and
taking pictures of poor and uploading to
media.
 We should follow ISLAMIC methods of
donation to reduce poverty in Pakistan.

Obstacles in reduction poverty: A Case Study of Donation Errors in Pakistan

  • 2. Introduction  Today every nation want to grow especially economically. And the poverty is most serious issue and obstacle in improvement of nation or development of any individual entity.  At the current situation poverty reduction is most necessary than building of roads.  The measure and strategies by government of Pakistan has not resulted in any revolutionary development.

Cont..  The obstacles in reduction poverty generally includes, govt. policies, role and norms of society and the important factor is donation which especially includes in Islam.  There are various school of thoughts in Islam, that defined the concept of donation in form of respective ZAKAT.

The donation Errors  Generally donation errors means the hurdles in effectiveness of process of donation, that will be resulted in reducing poverty and economic development of community.  Many preachers of Islam has took this issue on electronic and print media but sadly no entity look at very serious issue.

Cont..  Donation errors caused and forced many people to left the funds and receiving as such SADQA.  The process of donation, now is limited and transmitted to only for pictures for uploading on media.  Every national of Pakistan, has right to live and right to survive but many politician try to engage their minds that they are poor, and they can’t develop.

Hypocrisy  Hypocrisy means that when someone donate some thing to specific person (especially to poor people), he try to take picture of receiver of donation with him for media.  Everyone is gradually equal, and has all fundamental rights as compared to MNA, once a picture captured by donator, the receiver's heart brakes and he will never try to receive HELP publically for protection of self respect.

  • 8. •Look at previous two images! •If you are receiver, you may feel very shame, and you will try not to receive as such in future. Our donations should be HIDDEN as per Islamic laws. • Donators who donate only for and capturing should be advised to donate in form of hide.

Unbalanced Measures  The measures and strategies that are used by donators are no longer to reduce poverty in Pakistan  Look at the Islamic golden era, in age of Khilafat no poor existed in Medina for Receiving ZAKAT.  We have to establish strong, equal and well balanced measures for the donation, that will be resulted in equal distributions for all.
  • 10. 3. Negative Mindset  Public’s mind set is created that receiving donation is the act of shame.  This caused by the people who take pictures with poor women and upload to social media.  Donation is the process of human rights work, not a act of gaining political mandate.

Choosing person who are not eligible  In context of donation process, a lot of factors concluded and directed to choosing those persons who live easily, and they are not MASARAF of our donations.  Many persons wants to donate in family first, but they have elaborate that they are in line of poverty__or__not??  We have to try to seek poorest person of our community for donations.
  • 12. Cont..  When the donators choose persons for donation, they many-times biased with their family and community.  If their donation will donated to normal (not poor) person, the person who has nothing to eat and nothing to wear will not receive anything to fulfill his fundamental needs.
  • 13. Conclusions  In reduction poverty, donation is key factor.  The errors are role of donators that negative point includes the hypocrisy and taking pictures of poor and uploading to media.  We should follow ISLAMIC methods of donation to reduce poverty in Pakistan.
