Oakley Vale Planning
We have already undertaken this planning stage twice before,
so the planning for our soap opera did not take as long as it
did previously because we have a better understanding of
how to complete it. Furthermore, we also had a clear idea of
the storyline that we wished to follow and this meant that
representing this effectively when filming will not be as
challenging as the previous shows. Moreover, as we
concluded that soap operas use simplistic camera shots and
angles in order to allow the audience to relate to the on-
screen action, we have decided that there will not be a huge
range of dynamic shots – so when creating our storyboard –
we were able to select from the most simplistic, natural types
of camera shots to use.
