history and land in the Tennant Creek region.
The Centre provides a set of benchmarks in a multi faceted
i i hi h i i h h iprecinct in which visitors have the opportunity to:
Shop at the Retail Shop featuring local art and craft works,
gifts, books, etc;
Obtain information from the local Indigenous experts at the
Information Centre;
Si d j f h j i ff h jjik i C féSit and enjoy a fresh juice or coffee at the Jajjikari Café;
Visit the Museum and Gallery.
Watch traditional and contemporary performances in either

Explore the landscaped garden of indigenous plants and
bush tucker.

on Paterson Street (Stuart Highway) the main road( g y)

Objective:
As an Arts and cultural center, the centre takes the
lead in the study and research on the latest information
including history and people of Nyinka Nyunyu.
As an educational institution, the Nyinka Nyunyu
Arts and Cultural centre will disseminate scientific
and technical knowledge in more understandable form
The centre has several objectives covering diverse of
fields of knowledge through various educational,
scientific and cultural activities. As an educational
institution, the Nyinka Nyunyu Arts and Cultural
centre disseminates scientific and technical knowledge
in more understandable and practical forms through
l t hibiti i t i d bli ti flectures, exhibitions, interviews and publications for
students and the general public.
As a scientific institution, the centre conducts basic
h bi i i t t d fi ld kresearch programs combining integrated field work
in anthropology and archaeology, botany, geology,
