The document teaches numbers from 1 to 100 through the story of the very hungry caterpillar. Each day of the week the caterpillar eats a different food in increasing quantities from 10 apples on day 1 to 100 eggs on day 10. At the end students are prompted to consider how the caterpillar might be feeling after eating so much.
