Sequences
A sequence is an ordered list of items, usually numbers. Each item which makes up a
sequence are called 'terms'.

Describing sequences
● The general term is often expressed as the nth
term and is written as Tn
.
● Linear sequences can be written as a general formula, which is used to calculate any term
in the sequence.
● The common difference (d) is the difference between any term and the term before it.
d=Tn−T(n−1)
