This document provides the schedule and topics for an ecology course titled NS 5 Biodiversity and Sustainable Development. Over the course of 14 lectures from June to September, students will learn about key concepts including ecology, energy flow, ecosystem productivity, population structures, biodiversity, threats to biodiversity, conservation, living and non-living resources, environmental ethics and laws, and sustainable development. Assessment activities include two examinations, assignments, group discussions, a video workshop, and a final advocacy project.
