UTICamp-2020. Postgraduate Translation Study at KU Leuven, AntwerpUTICamp
Speaker: Sofia Gutkin
The eternal question in our field of work: is it better to have a university degree in translation and interpreting or to have studied another subject, which you now specialise in? Both is best, of course, but who has the time (and money)?
After obtaining a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the University of Melbourne, I spent years looking for a university degree in translation, preferably in Europe and preferably for my language combination. This is my experience of being a student of the Postgraduate Programme in Specialised Translation at KU Leuven (Belgium), a one-year course taught in English, which focuses on the latest translation technology.
Master in Cell Biology with thorough knowledge about Diabetes Care.
Excellent communication skills and poses a creative mind finding solutions in the most constructive way.
