This document provides an overview of North Carolina's Clean Transportation Plan and NEVI Deployment efforts. It discusses executive orders setting emissions reduction and electric vehicle registration goals. The plan's purpose is to support these executive orders and consider equitable outcomes across North Carolina. Key areas of focus include light-duty vehicle electrification, medium/heavy-duty vehicles, fleet transitions, vehicle miles traveled reduction, and clean transportation infrastructure like electric vehicle charging. The document also provides an update on North Carolina's NEVI Plan submission and goals, as well as the draft process for stakeholder engagement and procuring projects through a request for information and request for proposals.

Built around existing efforts (not new work streams).
Each of the workgroups will be focused on writing an Action Plan that addresses the challenges and leverages the opportunities uncovered in the March Stakeholder workshop.
These workgroup action plans will be used to advise the final recommended actions and priorities in the NCCTP developed by NCDOT.
The workgroups will be deliverable-oriented with a target of 10-12 members with deep knowledge of the workgroup topic.
Each member will commit to being actively engaged in the workgroup from March – September 2022. Templates and timeline will be provided.
