Splatter box
On Wednesday April 29th we went to the college in Marshalltown to present in front of three judges. My project was with Melanie and we did what we called "Splatter Box". We took old shoe boxes provided by Mrs. Hammers and wrapped rubber bands around them, not before sliding blank pieces of paper into them. When we went to the preschool two weeks ago to do the project, the girls loved it and wanted to keep doing it but the boys did enough. Two days ago was the college visit and we presented them, to our surprise we got 9th overall out of 25 (I believe). Attached is our presentation.

UC Nursing CESDEV 4 F Sos Village
The BSN IV-F nursing students at UC organized a pre-Christmas party for the children at the SOS Village, decorating the area and preparing gifts for the children. Games like an egg rolling contest and pin the star on the tree were played. The students presented carols and snacks were served. Each child received gifts before group pictures were taken, allowing the students to feel they brought joy to the children during the holidays.
Thanksgiving day
Usually Thanksgiving Day is celebrated annually to thank God for the harvest. At Access group, they decided to expand the purpose of the celebration to thank God for life, love, parents, and friends. To foster the holiday spirit, the children made colorful arts and crafts projects. As a surprise for the Access group boarding school, Mrs. Elena Pereu organized a charity event where volunteers from Mihai Eminescu High School donated gifts like toys and candy to the pupils. Thanksgiving Day allowed everyone to experience the pure joy and smiles of happy children.

1. Tear off a strip of chromatography paper about 1/2 inch wide and long enough to reach from the bottom to the top of a 50 ml graduated cylinder.
2. Place the strip in the cylinder so that it hangs down the inside wall with one end at the bottom.
3. Use a medicine dropper to place one drop of water at the bottom end of the strip.
4. Observe and record how fast the water climbs the strip.
