Over 30 separate field trips connected over 2,100 students to local watersheds through fall and winter water quality monitoring, native tree planting, and salmon dissection. Students learned about estuary habitats, nature mapping, and climate change through hands-on activities at sites along the Nisqually River and at the Billy Frank Jr. National Wildlife Refuge.
