Np is a fist species which start spawning early at spring But we have about 20 other impotent species which spawning later to protect them the fisheries closures begins at the fist week of April when np spawning mostly ended. What going on the spawning area? At the end of february enter to the shallow part of reservoir is closed because of hundreds of Fyke and trap nets So np cant enter to this area and start spawning at the place nearby Directly on the trap and fyke net like a substrate Usually at this time closures begins and all fishing gears mast be removed So all spawn died Rest of pike have a chance for good spawning but Shalow area is best place for illegal elictrofishing and gill netting and np caviar is attractive object for poachers And in addition last time we have Reduced spawning area caused by lower water level at early Spring results in a reduction in the number of recruits
