NIOG I, II, & III(History) 
• Few families mostly native who were legitimately 
residing for more than 50 years then inhabited 
Barangay Niog, before its 1992 creation into 3 
barangays. 
• As most senior citizens of Niog would recall when 
main Niog St. as they say “ daan kalesa”
• Niog become commercial area in bacoor being a 
distant barangay from Metro Manila. 
• Provincial ordinance in 1992 was immediately 
passed and approved for the creation of Niog into 
3 barangays namely Niog I,II & III.
