Nigeria was named by Flora Shaw and was formerly a British colony, gaining independence in 1960. It has a diverse population and was historically conquered by several groups, resulting in over 250 languages spoken. Nigeria has a federal republic government composed of 36 states and the capital territory of Abuja. The economy relies on industries like manufacturing, finance, and technology and important buildings include the Central Bank of Nigeria constructed in 1958. Traditional cultural practices include public coming of age ceremonies and the predominant religions are Christianity and Islam.

3. History
The name of Nigeria was given by Flora Shaw because it
was the name that she gave to her wife’s colony
It was conquered by the Britians in 1987 but much later
they got independence en 1946 later they changed
the form of goverment to monarchy and on October
1, 1963, the country changed its form of
government, from Monarchy to Republic but finally
the form of government is democracy

• Nigeria is a country in West Africa. Nigeria shares land borders with the
Republic of Benin in the west, Chad and Cameroon in the east,
and Niger in the north. Its coast lies on the Gulf of Guinea in the south and
it borders Lake Chad to the northeast. Noted geographical features in
Nigeria include the Adamawa highlands, Mambilla Plateau, Jos
Plateau, Obudu Plateau, the Niger River, River Benue and Niger Delta.

Sharo:It is a public ceremony that demonstrates to the society
that a young man has come of age, and may take a wife. The
young participant is continuously whipped by someone else,
called a challenger, but he must show no signs of pain

Leicester city (england),moses in chelsea and
Obafemu Martins in the Chinese league and
also there are athletes like Francis Obikwelu
