Michael Tedder @ 10th Pleasant 100 persons with Hokkaido vol.2Michael Tedder
A personal presentation on how I managed to find my way over to Japan (and subsequently, Sapporo), given at the 10th "Pleasant 100 persons with Hokkaido vol.2" (2018/2/7). I discuss my involvement in the games industry, and how I got there with the work I did in VR, SIGGRAPH, and the demoscene. I also go into detail on the demoscene itself, including the Revision demoparty, 4KB/64KB size-limited demos, and how I am making the demoscene more known to Japan by helping run and organize Tokyo Demo Fest.
(Note: This presentation is Japanese only, sorry.)
A study on_effect_of_cme_programs_in_improving_doctors_medical_practice[1]Bhavik Amin
This document outlines a project on continuing medical education (CME) programs presented by Bhavik Amin. It includes an introduction to CME programs, a review of relevant literature on effective CME techniques, objectives of CME programs, the research methodology used, an analysis of survey data collected from 36 doctors, findings from the data, suggestions to improve CME programs, conclusions, strengths and limitations of the study, and a bibliography. The project aimed to understand doctors' expectations of CME programs organized by pharmaceutical companies.
A riser is a metal tube that extends from the seafloor up to a drilling platform like a drillship. It allows tools and cuttings to pass between the drillhole and ship. The top attaches to the ship and bottom attaches to the top of the drillhole in the seafloor. A riser returns drilling fluid and cuttings from the hole to the ship, allowing reuse of the fluid and deeper drilling. It is essential for drilling deep holes into the ocean crust and sediments.
A study on effect of cme programs in improving doctors medical practiceBhavik Amin
Here are the key findings from the data analysis:
- Most doctors agree that CME programs help improve their practice and keep them up-to-date with medical advances.
- Doctors prefer CME programs that are short in duration.
- Opinions are mixed on preferences for paid vs. free CME programs and online vs. in-person programs.
- Tailor-made CME programs that allow doctors to select one or two options are preferred by many doctors.
- Location of CME programs at resorts/holiday spots does not strongly attract most doctors.
So in summary, the data shows CME is seen as important for improving practice but doctors prefer programs that are short, tailored
