New Schedule outlines a research, planning, and production schedule for a music video project that faced several delays: - Research took place from July to October 2009, longer than the planned 6 weeks, but song planning began during this period. - Planning officially started in September 2009, two months later than planned, but storyboards, lyrics analysis, and an animatic were completed within 2-3 days. - Filming continued through November 2009 alongside mock-ups creation to make up for delays. A final video was estimated for October but pushed back due to an actress' schedule. - Current plans are to use mock-ups to create final packaging by mid-January, film the video concurrently, and

1. New Schedule Following my progression on research and planning, I wanted to track my progress so I could assess how quickly I needed to move on and what action would be necessary.

2. Research As you can see my research commenced almost straight away and I began analysing various artists products in aid to help me understand how the current music industry works. I looked at video’s, magazines and digi packs that artists had distributed. The first week of July 2009 is when I began researching and this followed on up til October. I was hoping to complete my research within 6 weeks of starting it but that did not go to plan, although I did plan ahead and began thinking of my song during research.

3. Planning As soon as my research was over and done with I could properly focus on planning my video out and what course of action to take. After choosing my song it became more clear of the expectations and this helped me create story boards and lyrical analysis. I did not give a precise date that I wanted my planning to be complete but I did give slight deadlines of middle of September. As you can see, my planning did not officially start until 2 months after originally planned so I was way off course at this moment in time. My lyrical analysis, story boards and anamatic were all uploaded in the space of 2 or 3 days, this gave me a bit more confidence and I began filming my video.

4. Planning I continued to plan and film through November 2009. Originally I was not creating any mock ups until my video had been done but considering I was already behind I started on both. I created many mock ups of covers, full album arts and posters, along with conducting surveys to receive peer feedback. Nearing the end of November I came to completion of mock ups and had decided on which ones would be the template for my final. My final video was estimated to be finished by October but due to certain reasons (actress not available) I put this back and decided to complete my digi pack before my video.

5. What Now? At this moment in time (first week of December 2009) I will be using my mock ups as templates for my own and deciding on final products by the middle of January. My video will commence during this time and my first draft is hoping to be completed in the next two weeks, there fore I can improve and have my final video for the end of December or the start of January due to Christmas. This will then leave me enough time (approximately 4 weeks until February) to complete any revisions so I can make appropriate changes and complete my evaluation.
