CAREER OBJECTIVE:
Intend to build a bright career, working as a key player in a challenging and creative
environment and to pursue a challenging position in a progressive organization that will provide
all the help I want to build my career more rigorously and also for the development of that
organisation.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
 B.TECH in Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering from BPUT, Odisha.
 PDIS(Post Diploma In Safety) in BASTIA, Rourkela, 2014 with 83.2 %.
WORK EXPERIENCE:
 Worked as a service/site/project engineer in world Link Corporation on ABB Ltd
Company project for 3.5 years.
 Worked as a Service/ Maintenance Automation Engineer in Vedvyas Automation on
ABB Automation systems for 1.9 years.

2. JOB DETAILS:
 WORLD LINK CORPORATION:
 Project/Role-1
Playing a Role of Project Management/Site manager/Site Engineer with proper
planning of site requirements in up-gradation of Electrification of old WG
machines having 5 Nos.
 Site requirements were to establish/engage electrical and
mechanical man power into their scope of work.
 New ABB panels of ABB Automation AC800M and ABB drive Panels
ACS800 were erected with MCC and PDB panels.
 New cables were drawn to all the 5 machines from new ABB
panels accordingly taking one by one machine into shutdown
planning.
 Schedule making all shutdowns.
 Cabling, Termination schedule making.
 Relative motors erection and cable connections with 2 nos special
servo motors and its encoder connection.
 Being a part of Commissioning ABB team.
 Automation and Drive panel wiring making schedule, panel wiring
and online testing was done.
 Commissioning and installation of ABB Automation system
AC800M with scada systems having InTouch wonderware
software.
 Commissioning and installation of ABB Drives system
ACS800,tuning,ID run and all.
 Cold and Hot trail with new HMI CP430 on machine configuration
was done.
 Relating with ABB team Bangalore, As built drawing and after
commissioning the As commissioned drawing making and
handover of the project.
 After Handover till Final Acceptance Certificate worked as
Maintenance Engineer for the project relating to the machines
stabilization, some program related changes, Wonderware related
changes in scada, troubleshooting in logic failure by tracing in the
program logic, troubleshooting in drive related any problems were
also in roles.

3.  Project/Role-2
Full supervision and undertaking of WIRELESS project in CASTER, SMS-2, SAIL,
ROURKELA STEEL PLANT.
 Site requirements were to establish/engage electrical and
mechanical man power into their scope of work.
 New ABB panels for Wireless systems was erected.
 New ABB system load cell for weighing system was erected on the
laddle turret.
 Schedule making all shutdowns.
 Cabling, Termination schedule making.
 Being a part of commissioning team of Lotus Wireless system
which was installed in ABB helping out to capture the signals of
ABB load cell values wirelessly.
 Project/Role-3
Worked as a representative for ABB in MCNALLY BHARAT project in New Blast
Furnace #5 site, SAIL, Rourkela Steel Plant.
 Testing of ABB AC induction motors for Vibro Feeder application.
 Supplying of electrification was in the scope of M/s McNally
Bharat.
 One by one motors were tested and done ready by measuring its
actual values of megger.
 Supervision of Wiring and testing of ABB drives and Automation
links in south area of New blast furnace#5 area.
 Project/Role-4
Commissioning of Training kit having ACS800, DCS800 drives and AC800XA,
AC450 automation at HRDC, SAIL,RSP.
 Setup of the training Kit.
 Engaging of Man power for cabling of training Kits.
 Wiring and testing of test kit panels.
 Installation and Commissioning was with the ABB team of 3
including me.
 ID run of DCS800 and ACS800 Drive was done.
 Installation of 800xa was done on the engineering station.
 All the systems were synchronized.
 As built and as commissioned drawing was handed over.

4.  Project/Role-5
Worked as Sales and Service Engineer.
 Worked as ABB drive service engineer for some time.
 Travelling and touring for any service call for ABB drive related
issues in RSP as well as other Plants.
 Recommendation of drive related spares were done to
customers.
 Load test or small changes in parameters were done according
site requirements.
 Troubleshooting like changing of spare cards in ABB drives in
place of faulty cards, etc.
 Telephonic support was also given for drives related small issues
to the customers.
 VEDVYAS AUTOMATION:
Worked as an Automation Service/Maintenance Engineer in Annual Maintenance
Contract taken by ABB for LV drives and Automations installed in different
department in Rourkela Steel Plant. Automations systems having 800xA DCS
systems, AC450,MP200 systems.
 Making of shutdown and maintenance plan every week covering
every department of SAIL,RSP one by one.
 Travelling to the particular department as per shutdown taken.
 Maintenance of different ABB servers( Aspect Servers, Connectivity
Servers).
 Maintenance of Engineering and Operating Stations.
 Practically checking of servers performance whether running speed
by opening different pages.
 Cleaning of all the temporary files from servers to make it fast.
 Taking all the partial backups and maintenance backups from
aspect servers in 800xa systems.
 Maintaining it as a record in DVD.
 Checking of System load and maintaining it as record.
 In redundant server systems making one by one switch off and
switch on of the servers network switch.
 Checking network cables i.e plant and control network cables
tightness from servers as well as switches.
 Cleaning of Panels and network switches dust in every shutdowns.
 Running of ABB health checkup tool and taking of record as
systems healthiness report.
 Checking of RNRP nodes and its Services.

5.  All tightness checkup of all power and control cables.
 Alarm and events monitoring.
 Checking of all necessary communications with drives and field
devices.
 Checking of healthiness of OPC server in Connectivity Server.
 Checking of License nos., its usages and license validity in servers.
 Checking of IP addresses of Plant and control networks etc.
 Installation of OS and 800xa if required during any troubleshooting.
 Small changes in program or tracing of particular logic in program
during any troubleshooting.
 Cleaning of MP200 DSPC and related DI/DO rack cards.
 Taking Application Dump of MP200 systems.
 Checking of loads and maintaining it as record.
 Making of all works records and maintaining it as excel sheet and
sending it as report to the end customers on after every
maintenance and trouble shootings.
 Scope for recommendation of no. of spares as servers,
DI/DO/AO/AI cards(differently for MP200 and AC800M systems).
Other cards like Network cards and Communication Interface cards
were also done.
