SUMMARY
Five years active duty service,E-4 pay grade still serving. Separating December 2015.
Over the past 8 years of continuous employment held multiple jobs in construction, roofing,
farming, and mechanic shops. To include but not limited to maintaining tools, parts and collateral
inventories. Responsible for the preventative and corrective repairs of over 400 pieces of
equipment maintaining a 94 percent equipment availability to support multiple military units.
Scheduling preventative maintenance for all equipment and training junior mechanics. Training
of junior mechanics of shop procedures, vehicle trouble shooting and diagnostics. Always
looking to improve my skills and take on tasks.

• Attached to two different commands both as a mechanic with one deployment as Senior Lead
Mechanic.

mechanic contractors.
• Use Navy computer program to schedule each weeks work load and report the performance
up the chain of command. Forecast future jobs to ensure parts are on hand and being
ordered. Conduct spot checks to ensure proper procedures are being followed. Schedule
maintenance each quarter to ensure even work load each week, and assign maintenance to
each mechanic.
• Prepare multiple pieces of equipment for Dive and EOD units to deploy, ensuring equipment is
100 percent and loading each piece with collateral.
• Lead mechanic for all preventative maintenance not limited to oil changes, lubrication, and
brake components.
• Knowledgable in vehicle sensitive alignments.
• Diagnostic and repair of electrical components and problems.
• Lead generator mechanic.
• Awarded two Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Metals for my performance as a mechanic.
• Responsible for training junior sailors, not limited to shop tools, equipment, vehicles, trailers,
forklifts, and tractors.
• Always sought after by senior members to get the job done correctly and in a timely manner.
• Qualified to operate all equipment to include, tractor trailer, forklifts, buses, vans, trucks and
heavy diesel equipment.
