PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
 Seagoing experience :
Worked in Wallem Ship Management in various ranks from 1993 to 2000 before
commencing employment with Teekay Shipping (Vancouver).
Served with Teekay Shipping (Canada) Ltd, from August 2002 till 2007 in the capacity of
First engineer and Chief engineer.
Promoted to Chief engineer in 2007.
• Offshore Experience :
 Worked with MODEC international as Maintenance Supervisor (Chief Engineer)
from 2008 to 2010 on FSO Cidade De Macae ULCC, This vessel is located
offshore Rio as a storage tanker with a loading capacity of 80,000 T/Day.
 Familiar with turret mooring and gas turbines (Solar).
 Worked on hot water boilers and inert gas plants with a capacity of 21000 cu.hr.
 Weir pumps for pumping to 2 SBM,s and 70 Bar pressure
 Worked on turret moored vessels with a total of 9 risers and subsea power of 13.8
KV.
 Worked on digital metering systems for off-take purposes.
 Worked with Teekay for 3 years + on FSO Falcon Spirit in the Al Rayaan oil field
offshore Doha, Qatar as Maintenance Supervisor (Chief Engineer) from August
2010 until November 2013
 The FSO Falcon Spirit is equipped with 2 main propulsion units each having a
reduction gear box with shaft generators (6.9KV), CPP propellers and Framo for
cargo pumping through eight pumps (4 fixed and 4 variable). The FSO Falcon Spirit
is soft moored and is on contract with Oxydental Petroleum.
 Worked on bow thrusters and CPP propulsion for FSO’s
 Hands on experience on various types of engine room and deck machinery,
including steam plants, and E- House operations.
 Inspection and surveying of machinery, as per Class requirements.
Forecasting and budgeting spare parts procurement and control, projecting repairs
and modification requirements where required.
 Just finished commissioning of MOPU BOSS 1 for Thome Oil and Gas in Indonesia
on 6th
June 2014. The MOPU is equipped with gas engines (Caterpillar) and gas
compressors (Ariel) with one gas lift compressor and 2 Wakesha gas engine
generators. Aux power is supplied from 2 EMD diesel generators.
