•CMD is commonly used to mean "command":
•CMD.EXE, Command Prompt on the OS/2 and
Windows NT families if operating systems
•CMD file, the filename extension used by
executable programs

3. ipconfig
•(internet protocol configuration) in Microsoft
Windows, it is a console application that displays
all currentTCP/IP network configuration values
and can modify Dynamic Host Configuration
Protocol (DHCP) and Domain Name System (DNS)
settings.

4. netstat
•In computing, netstat (network statistics) is a
command-line network utility tool that displays
network connections for the Transmission Control
Protocol (both incoming and outgoing), routing tables,
and a number of network interface (network interface
controller or software-defined network interface) and
network protocol statistics.

5. ping
• Ping is a basic Internet program that allows a user to verify
that a particular IP address exists and can accept requests.
• Ping is used diagnostically to ensure that a host computer
the user is trying to reach is actually operating.
• Syntax: ping [IP Address of the device in the network]
