This document outlines different types of satellite and wireless networks categorized by coverage area and bandwidth capabilities. It describes satellite networks that provide national coverage using GEO orbit with TDM/DOCSIS up to 15Mbps and 250ms latency. It also lists regional area networks under 30km using IEEE 802.22 with up to 24Mbps and 200ms latency, as well as wide area networks under 15km using technologies like WiMax and LTE with speeds up to 300kbps. Local area networks within 150m using WiFi standards can achieve speeds from 2Mbps to 100Mbps, while pico networks under 10m using Bluetooth and Zigbee deliver around 1Mbps and 250kbps respectively.
