We recently hosted the much-anticipated Community Skill Builders Workshop during our June online meeting. This event was a culmination of six months of listening to your feedback and crafting solutions to better support your PMI journey. Here’s a look back at what happened and the exciting developments that emerged from our collaborative efforts.
A Gathering of Minds
We were thrilled to see a diverse group of attendees, including local certified PMI trainers and both new and experienced members eager to contribute their perspectives. The workshop was structured into three dynamic discussion sessions, each led by our dedicated membership advocates.

Administering Netball Programs in Schools and After School Hours Programs
Initially 12 Months With Future Scope for Extension
Netball SA is the State Sporting Organisation responsible for the governance, development, promotion and
administration of netball throughout SA. It has responsibility for servicing its 30,000 members, the operations of
Netball SA Stadium and the running of its elite team, the Adelaide Thunderbirds. Currently Netball SA is seeking
to appoint the newly created role of Participation Officer.
This role reports to and works closely with the Community Participation Coordinator with the primary function of the
role administering netball’s key participation programs for juniors. These are delivered primarily in the school and
club setting. The Participation Officer will be required to build effective relationships with key stakeholders
including Netball Australia, associations, clubs and schools.
The Participation Officer is responsible for the organisation, delivery, record keeping and administration of two of
Netball SA’s key junior participation programs ANZ NetSetGO and Sporting Schools.
Key responsibilities will include:
Assisting in the record keeping and administration of Netball SA’s Sporting Schools Program.
Maintaining Netball SA’s Sporting Schools database.
Assist in the endorsement process of all Sporting School Coaches.
Ongoing administrative support to be provided to ANZ NetSetGO Centres registering.
Organisation, conduct, delivery, marketing/promotion, record keeping and administration of key Netball
SA junior programs including: School Holiday Clinics, Future Stars Netball Camp, Thunder Cup
competitions held at Netball SA Stadium.
Ideally suiting individuals with exposure to administering sport or schools based programs, the successful
applicant will possess strong administrative and organisational skills whilst working in a hands on environment.
Equally suiting graduates looking for entry level role within sports administration, applicants with exposure to
delivering sporting or education programs are strongly encouraged.
