Selected highlights from 2014/2015
• Established a wholly-owned testing laboratory in Shenzhen, South China. The laboratory is accredited and
accepted within the CB scheme for testing of IT/AV equipment, household appliances, lighting equipment and
components.
• Development and launch of the Nemko Europe certification service, providing lasting CE compliance for all
electrical and electro-technical products in Europe.
• The annual customer survey shows that 84 percent of all customers are satisfied or very satisfied with
Nemko’s services.
• Launched a new website in July. Visit us at www.nemko.com
• Invested in the only testing equipment available in the marketplace to support all the required tests in order to
comply with the new requirements which will affect wireless equipment in the 2.4GHz band (ETSI EN 300
328 v1 .8.1).
• Extended our EPA recognised ENERGY STAR® certification scope to include the newly published V1.0 Data
Center Storage requirements.
• Our Nemko Salt Lake office has been recognized by OSHA as a NRTL for the medical category. OSHA is
the main federal agency charged with the enforcement of safety and health legislation in the US.
• Nemko Korea was accredited for the GS-mark. Other Nemko labs that have this accreditation are in USA, Italy,
China, Taiwan, Germany and Norway.
