1. Stuttgart Media University trains over 4,300 media specialists across ten departments. The Crossmedia Journalism department was established in 2012 and has seven professors and 240 students. 2. The Crossmedia Journalism program trains future journalists alongside coders, filmmakers, and PR specialists. It emphasizes technical training, cross-channel collaboration, and apprenticeship through their convergent media center newsroom. 3. In the convergent media center, students gain hands-on experience working in roles as reporters, editors, and tutors across their degree to learn newsgathering, organization, feedback, and newsroom operations.
