1) Students will rotate through math problems from old tests, spending a few minutes on each problem before passing their paper to the right. 2) For each problem, students should write down any important math vocabulary, answer the question with their work, and note any alternative ways to solve the problem. 3) Students should then rate the difficulty of each problem on a scale of 1 to 5 and put the problem number on their paper.

1. Test Prep Mania!
Directions: for this activity each person I'll get a math problem from an old test.
You will have that problem for a few minutes then when we call time you rotate
the papers to the right.
When you have the problem here is what you will do:
1. Look at the problem and write down and math vocabulary you might not know
or that you think is important
2. Answer the question with all the work on your paper
3. Write down what different ways you can do the problem (is there more then
one way to solve the problem and what is it?)
4. How would you rate this problem on a scale of 1-5:
1- so easy babies can do it! 2-easy 3-just right! 4- oh boy I'm not so sure 5-
WHAT! I have no clue this is so hard!
5. Make sure you put the number of the problem you are doing on your paper
because the problems aren't in order. Do all the work we are asking on the loose
leaf.
6. Once we are done we will add up all the problem ratings to see how difficult
you thought the problems were. BE HONEST! This is not a test :)
