Acupuncture has become more accepted as an integrative treatment alongside conventional cancer care in places like Germany. The study examined women's perceptions of standard cancer treatment options and their openness to including acupuncture. Forty women of various ethnic backgrounds completed surveys. The results showed most women were open to incorporating acupuncture into their treatment plans. The study concludes acupuncture is gaining acceptance as a viable therapy that can be used alongside standard treatments for cancer.

This study examined the effect of complementary music therapy on postoperative patients' anxiety, pain, and noise satisfaction. Researchers recruited 41 postoperative patients from a hospital and assigned them to music therapy or control groups. Patients in the music therapy group listened to 30 minutes of non-lyrical music after analgesia, while controls received usual care. Patients completed questionnaires measuring anxiety, pain, and noise satisfaction at various times. Results showed music therapy increased pain and noise satisfaction but not anxiety. This study assessed opinions and attitudes about cupping therapy among the general population in Karachi, Pakistan. A survey of 400 individuals found that over half were aware of cupping therapy and nearly 60% believed it helped treat illnesses. This study examined the associations between visual themes in masks created by 370 active-duty military service members with traumatic brain injuries and psychological health conditions during art therapy sessions, and their scores on standardized measures of post-traumatic stress, depression, and anxiety. The study found that depictions of psychological injury were associated with higher stress and depression scores, while depictions of military unit identity, nature, and cultural symbols were associated with lower scores. Color symbolism and fragmented military symbols were linked to higher anxiety, depression, and stress. The emergent patterns of resilience and risk embedded in the images could help patients, clinicians, and caregivers.

Forty female subjects were randomly selected and ages ranged between 28 and 62.The following was a breakdown of the sample: Of the n-40 women who took part in this questionnaire, 28 subjects were white; 7 were African-American, 4 were Latino, and 1 was Japanese. • Subjects responded to a survey that summarized their perceptions of conventional methods in diagnostics and standard treatment for gynecological cancers. • Responded to questions as to how they might feel if Acupuncture was included as part of their treatment plan.
