Waste to Wealth: Landscape for Waste to Energy for Industrial Wasteckinetics
Perched on the tipping point of ecological and economic rebalancing, the
business and environmental landscape of the world is shifting towards
sustainable growth paths. Energy and resource costs are on the upswing due
to heavy reliance on non-renewable and hence limited sources of energy
and other materials. This is a precursor to the need to: (1) make existing
resources last longer and (2) identify new resources that are both renewable
and viable.
Waste and, in particular, the exponentially growing Industrial Waste presents
one such invaluable opportunity to generate energy from waste; thereby
incorporating a natural by-product of industrial production into meeting the
industrial energy demand.
The Government of India has, through policies and directives, laid significant
emphasis on the need and the pathways to exploit the waste to energy
potential in India. Various programs are providing assistance to industrial
units to set up plants to convert waste to energy.
In addition, the economic viability of Industrial Waste as a substantial, easily
available and renewable source of energy is a key catalyst to drive industrial
uptake of ‘Waste to Energy’ programs.
To accelerate the adoption of Waste to Energy programs, it is imperative to
understand and mitigate roadblocks for all stakeholders. The ASSOCHAM
initiatives on Waste to Wealth, supported by this report detailing the operative
landscape, would create the ideal forum to initiate and incubate the dialogue
that enables the road to generate Wealth from Waste.

Implicitly or explicitly all competing businesses employ a strategy to select a mix
of marketing resources. Formulating such competitive strategies fundamentally
involves recognizing relationships between elements of the marketing mix (e.g.,
price and product quality), as well as assessing competitive and market conditions
(i.e., industry structure in the language of economics).

Understanding User Needs and Satisfying ThemAggregage
https://www.productmanagementtoday.com/frs/26903918/understanding-user-needs-and-satisfying-them
We know we want to create products which our customers find to be valuable. Whether we label it as customer-centric or product-led depends on how long we've been doing product management. There are three challenges we face when doing this. The obvious challenge is figuring out what our users need; the non-obvious challenges are in creating a shared understanding of those needs and in sensing if what we're doing is meeting those needs.
In this webinar, we won't focus on the research methods for discovering user-needs. We will focus on synthesis of the needs we discover, communication and alignment tools, and how we operationalize addressing those needs.
Industry expert Scott Sehlhorst will:
• Introduce a taxonomy for user goals with real world examples
• Present the Onion Diagram, a tool for contextualizing task-level goals
• Illustrate how customer journey maps capture activity-level and task-level goals
• Demonstrate the best approach to selection and prioritization of user-goals to address
• Highlight the crucial benchmarks, observable changes, in ensuring fulfillment of customer needs

Agency Managed Advisory Board As a Solution To Career Path Defining Business ...
Nawala may june 2013 for web
1. one
MAY-JUNE 2013
MESSAGE FROM
THE CHAIRMAN
Dear Nawala Readers,
Indonesia may not be the powerhouse anymore in the
oil and gas industry, but we believe that Indonesia still
has great potential in the sector but requires better
investment climate in order to generate more revenue
for the country.
Indonesia was dropped from OPEC in 2008 after importing more oil than it
produced. Even as a net importer, the industry still accounted for a large chunk
of state revenue, with last year's amount at around $35 Billion.
The industry has been hit by multiple challenges in the past couple years, notably
regarding legal uncertainties and the cost of bureaucracy. We have also to deal
with depleting oil reserves, while consumption continues to rise alongside strong
economic growth.
President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, speaking at the opening of the Indonesian
Petroleum Association Convention on the 15th of May acknowledges the
challenging situation of the industry and made promises that the government will
try to improve the situation. The President added that he formed a team to
streamline the bureaucracy and formulate the right incentives that will drive the
future growth of the industry. It is encouraging to know that the President has sent
strong signal to improve the industry. On the other hand we have to be aware that
Indonesia is losing ground to its regional peers in terms of investment attractiveness.
The cost of producing oil and gas in Indonesia is high, which could lead business
to turn to other places. It is fair to say that the biggest problem hindering foreign
investment in the oil and gas sector is the fuel subsidy issues. However the issue
will be solved by the government very soon.
Changing the report to a bigger picture, the year 2013 Indonesia marks the 15th
Anniversary of the end of Suharto's administration and we have every reason to
be proud of how far our nation has come. On the 21th of May 1998 Indonesia was
a nation in crisis. The government was disarray and the economy was in free fall.
Fifteen years on, Indonesia is a nation transformed. It is the darling of investors
and a member of G-20 group of largest economies in the world. But even as we
bask in our achievements, we must look to our future and what the next 15 years
will bring for the nation.
Bimasena is ready to the rise of future challenges, to continue serve the oil and
gas industry as a venue of pleasant and smooth interaction of its stakeholders.
CONGRATULATIONS - JAKARTA IS 486 YEARS OLD
Born in the 15th century, Jakarta is now 486 years old with a population of more than 10
million people. The theme of this year is “Jakarta Baru, Jakarta Kita” a meaningful concept
of a society in unity. It has a sense of passion for change and a more humane Jakarta,
better future, own identity in this growing diverse pluralistic Jakarta.
35 Events will be held for this anniversary celebration - Jakarta International 10K,
Jakarta Great Sale, Jakarnaval, Pekan Raya Jakarta (PRJ), sports and art promotion.
