Description : Zigbee are RF embedded modules that are ruled by the 802.15.4 standard (someone’s are true
Zigbee compliant modules). A technology now opens to people and easier to implement for the home applications.
Serial communication between two or more Zigbee modules by using standard commands. The ember desktop and
HyperTerminal is using for send the network forming and joining commands. Speeds up to115200 bits per second are
normally used, by using ember Zigbee modules we can communicate around 2km surrounding it’s the major
advantage of using Em357 modules. The ember desktop is also helpful for tracing node (If we used more than two
zigbees), this application is used in home appliances like for door lock system.Low power consuming device and
high speed in wake up modes. In this Zigbee inbuilt arm cortex-3 controller is using for supporting more I/O pins.
Project : The capacitive touch panel capability of the EFM32 for Switch panel.

Description: The capacitive touch panel design for a digital LED desk lamp (Or CFL bulb) which consists of two
parts: an LED array and a control unit with a touch pad. The LED array includes both LEDs and a constant current
source not only to ensure that every LED receives a fixed current and but also to provide a uniform brightness. We
use the PWM method which provides an on/off control for each LED of the array transforms different gray levels
into LED array patterns and uses those patterns to maintain digital levels of brightness. The PWM method of
adjusting the brightness; however, it provides a digital control for the brightness of the LED array. In the digital
control panel we use the capacitive sensor to design the touch pad and to replace the traditional mechanical button to
provide a user-friendly interface and displaying the current control values on LCD display.

Project Name: Electronics Box device For Protecting Question Papers.
Role: Coding and Designing.

Description: Every year during time of examination we find news in the newspaper or television about question
paper leakage and hence the exam is being postponed /cancelled. We propose a mechanism where the question
paper will be sent to the examination centers in a sealed electronic box. This electronic box device will then be sent a
message from base station (here we consider base station as the mobile of some authorized person who has to take
care of question paper); which will then request for a password to be entered. When the password matches the box
will open through stepper motor mechanism.
M. Tech project:-
Project Name: A Low Power VLSI Architecture for Image Compression Using Based on Lo-effler Method.
Role: Coding and Designing
Environment and language: Embedded C.
Description: Image compression is an important topic in digital world. It is the art of representing the information in
a compact form. The proposed architecture of DCT is based on Lo-effler method which is a fast and low complexity
algorithm. Here DCT multipliers are replaced with adders and shifters. Low power approaches like Canonic signed
digit representation for constant coefficients and a sub-expression elimination method has been used. Similar to DCT,
the IDCT will also be implemented using the Lo-effler algorithm for IDCT.
