The Quick Links Area

                              The Course Outline link takes
                              you to all of the course
                              content and assignments.


                       The Dropboxes link takes you to the area
                       where you will post all of your
                       assignments and journal entries. The
                       folders in the Dropbox area are clearly
                       labeled. Double check to be sure that you
                       are entering material into the correct box
                       or folder.

                       The Forum link takes you to the most
                       important area of your participation: your
                       discussion area. Forums are labeled for
                       each assignment.
THE DROPBOX
This is where you submit all assignments.
Every folder has labels to identify the
    type of entry required: Assignment or
    Journal. Click on the type of entry you
    wish to make..




NOTE: Teacher Line only accepts files in the
following formats:
.txt, .rtf., doc., docx., ppt., pptx. Be sure to
save your files in one of these formats to
avoid having to redo your work or having it
rejected.
THE DISCUSSION FORUMS
This is where you will enter your comments
 in response to the discussion prompt, at
         least four times each week.
There are two ways to access the discussion
 forums when you enter the course.
1. You may click on “Forums” in the “Quick




                                                 FORUMS AREA
   Links” box in the left column. That will
   open the Forums Section, listing all of the
   open forums for the course.


 Forum links always show
 the yellow folders icon.
Click on the blue
    link to open
    each forum.

2. You may go the Content Section, and click
on a specific forum from there. That will take
you to the specific forum you selected.
FORUM PARTICIPATION
When you open a forum, you will find your discussion prompt
listed. Be sure to address all items listed in each prompt.




          Click here to enter your original response to the
          prompt for the discussion forum assignment.
FORUM PARTICIPATION.
  Enter the subject of your response.




        Enter your response.




                                        Click on “POST” at the
                                        bottom of the screen
                                        when your are done.

This is where you will read weekly
Announcements, check your grades and
progress, and access the Participants list.
THE RIGHT COURSE COLUMN.
Read the Announcements EVERY
TIME you enter the course. That
is where group communication
will take place:
reminders, information, feedback,
 changes, and more. You are
responsible for any information
posted in the Announcements
Section.

Other right-column sections
relate to
participants, grades, and other
course tools.

Be sure to click on Profile and
update it so that we can begin to
know more about each other.

NAVIGATING.
                There are two ways to navigate pages
                   within the course from menus.
Use the “cookie crumbs,” which trace back   Choose from Drop Down options or

As course-related questions come up, be
sure to enter your them into the Help Is
Here Forum, where your facilitator and
peers will address your issue. Check this
forum regularly for information posted in
response to questions from others. The
Help Is Here forum also has “posters” with
course-related instructions.
