17. National library policy– advisory groups
The advisory group is to advise the National Librarian on the use of
project and development grants for the good of the library sector.
This applies both to prioritization and development of national
services in the National Library, and in connection with the
announcement of development grants.
The group will also participate in setting up criteria for the
announcement of grants after the Ministry has published its
guidelines through budget and allocation letters, and will offer
recommendations after internal procedures are completed and
before the final decisions on grants are made.
