In this project by using GUI we designed a basic calculator in which general operations can be perform like addition ,subtraction, multiplication etc.
steganography system uses two algorithms, one for embedding and one for extraction. The embedding process hides a secret message within a cover image/video. The result of embedding process is called stego image.
The main advantage is that the secret message will not be accessed if a third party tries to intercept the cover media.
Sockets are special files which is the combination of IP address plus Port number. for example if your system’s IP address is : 10.0.5.15 and port number is 8000 than socket will be : 10.0.5.15:8000. By default sockets IPC is full duplex process and can be used to achieve both intra-process and inter-process communication.
Message queue and shared memory both are used to achieve interprocess communication(IPC). Use of message queue and shared memory both have there own advantages as well as disadvantages.
Using semaphores synchronization can be provided between two or more process. Here i am going to write a code which will clear that how a semaphore can be used with shared memory to provide synchronization between writing process and reading process.
In this MATLAB based project we are extracting the frames from the video and dividing each frame into two quadrant. After detecting the face in respective quadrant we are setting the flag variable. This flag variable later can be used as a switch for automatic controlling of the home appliances.
