The NAP-Ag Programme aims to integrate climate change risks and opportunities into national agriculture planning and budgeting processes across 11 countries from 2015-2018. Funded by the German government with a budget of EUR 15 million, the programme works with FAO and UNDP to strengthen countries' technical capacity on National Adaptation Plans (NAPs) and provide evidence and lessons learned to support their development. Key outcomes include developing roadmaps and strategies for NAPs, improving monitoring and evaluation frameworks, and promoting advocacy and knowledge sharing on integrating adaptation. Country-level activities focus on tailored trainings, gender mainstreaming, leveraging climate finance, and developing climate-resilient investment programmes.
