Aboriginal Health Television (AHTV) received funding from the Australian government to provide culturally relevant health content and messages to Aboriginal community controlled health services across Australia. AHTV will engage audiences with relevant content, deliver important health information, and promote local communities and achievements through their digital screens and social media platforms. Their goal is to improve health literacy and outcomes for Aboriginal patients through enabling local health services to directly communicate important messages.

The Health and Social Care Act (2012) paved the way for far-reaching reforms to how patient care in the English NHS is organised, managed and delivered. The changes were formally implemented on 1 April 2013.

The first slides show the old and new structure in overview, together with a slide detailing the transitional arrangement. Further slides compare the earlier arrangements that were in place for funding, regulation and monitoring, advice and performance management, and patient and public participation, with the new system at both the national and local level. The Bob and Renee Parsons Foundation Commits $2M to Circle the City
The Bob & Renee Parsons Foundation donated $2 million to Circle the City to open a new primary health care center for homeless individuals. The Parsons Family Center will open in summer 2015 near Circle the City's existing Medical Respite Center in Phoenix. It is expected to provide care for 3,500 patients annually and help address the most pressing health issues of the region's 17,000 homeless people. The new center will handle basic health care while the Medical Respite Center will continue to offer longer-term, more involved care.
