The Bob and Renee Parsons Foundation Commits $2M to Circle the City
1.
2. In September 2014, The Bob & Renee
Parsons Foundation announced that it
would donate $2 million to support Circle
the City’s efforts to deliver health care to
homeless individuals. The donation will go
directly to Circle the City’s new primary
health care center, which will reach an
estimated 3,500 patients annually and
address some of the homeless population’s
most pressing health issues.
3. Slated to open in the summer of 2015,
the new Parsons Family Center at Circle
the City will be located near the
organization’s Medial Respite Center in
Phoenix. The center will help alleviate the
strain of frequent emergency room visits
and 911 calls by delivering ongoing care
to the region’s 17,000 homeless
individuals.
4. The Parsons Family Center will
complement Circle the City’s 50-bed
Medical Respite Center, a state-of-the-art
facility that adopts a holistic
approach to medical care for homeless
individuals. The new center will handle
basic health care visits, while the
Medical Respite Center will continue to
offer patients longer-term, more involved
care.
