seen as essential components of family nursing practice. Family
health promotion refers
to the activities that families engage in to strengthen the family
as a unit. Family health
promotion is defined as achieving maximum family well-being
throughout the family life
course and includes the biological, emotional, physical, and
spiritual realms for family
members and the family unit task of families is to teach health
maintenance and health
promotion, regardless of age.”
