JOB DESCRIPTION ( Duties and Responsibilities ):

3. • Responsible for the preparation of design documents including drawings, BOQ etc.
• Conduct preliminary evaluation of projects assigned by the Project Manager.
• Arrange and attend meetings with potential and current clients to discuss their vision
for a progress of the work, technical related questions based on the solution they wish
to deploy and survey project sites with them.
• Design and draft telecommunication solutions for potential and current clients,
including the creation of a BOQ and drawings or the specification of the items they
requires.
• Co-ordinate pre/post implementation stages of project operations to handle any kind
of changes required.
• Perform physical tasks such as checking hand holes, manholes, underground and
overhead ducting etc.
• Make revisions, to size, shape and arrangements of structure, architectural features,
finishes to create the required drawings.
• Participate in engineering and general work reviews as required.
• Liaise with Logistics Management department for material needed and appropriate
pricing.
• Liaise with Engineering department for any client-related issues problems or
clarifications.
• Control Expenditure within limitation of the company budget.
• Prepare interim and project completion reports.
• Work together with other engineers in the department by updating each other on the
materials used, suggesting the appropriate industry approved and co-ordinating to
meet the progress for projects on the priority.
• Keep GM-Engineering and Senior Manager- Engineering advised of current work status,
workload, problems and progress as related to work assignments.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as agreed upon the GM- Engineering / Senior
Manager- Engineering.
• Conducting site survey and take necessary information to be forwarded to the Project
Manager.
• Individual supervision, Setting out, Cost assessment and execution of the Project.
• Preparation of As built drawings with the documents and the attachments like
warranties, guarantees, operational manuals, subcontractors lists, materials lists etc.

4. • Preparation and submittal of monthly project valuations and the discussion with the
client/consultant on percentage of work completed.
• Handing over of the projects with attending of snags and follow up with the sub
contractors to complete the snags, fulfill the comments recorded by the Client/
Consultants.
