Description:
This project is for a large pharmaceutical company in UK. The primary
objective of this project is to develop the OBIEE reports for GSK reporting requirement.
Pharma Analytics is an application that provides data and reports on certain aspects of the
conduct of clinical trials. The clinical trials are conducted to test a new drug or device on
human subjects. It is conducted as part of a program to demonstrate that the drug/device is
safe and effective, in order to gain approval from a regulatory agency to market it. The
following various entities are analyzed in the reporting system: Protocol, Site, Subjects,
Account, Contact, Milestone & Drivers, and payments.
Responsibilities:
 Configured OBIEE Repository like implementation of physical data model as per
requirements, importing the tables and having the physical joins/keys required and
changed the physical joins/key on the existing tables.
 Mapping the logical columns with different columns on Business model layer and
in Physical layer.
 Used the expression builder utility to create new logical columns in the BMM
layer and created various calculation measures.
 Modeling activities which included building Star Schema as per the Business
requirements and configuration of Logical Layer, Logical tables, Dimensions and
columns in Business Model and Mapping layer.
