1. Pfizer – MDG Implementation
Description
The aim of this project was implementing the SAP MDG for
Material master data. The existing Material Master data coming
from various sources are evaluated for data quality and based
on the data quality assessment the erroneous and redundant
data are corrected/ removed. Ultimately 100% cleaned data are
loaded into the MDG module. Once the data is loaded into MDG
module all type of transactions on Material data are managed
centrally from the MDG module. For maintenance ofthe Material
Master data from MDG module some Workflows have been
developed.

Description
This is a Data quality project. Client data was provided in csv files.
Those data were uploaded to an Oracle database using Business
Objects Data Services. Information Steward was used to develop
rules and running them on loaded tables in Oracle. Rules were
developed on various data quality dimensions and
corresponding data quality score cards were generated and
provided/ explained to client. The details of failed data were also
provided to client in excel sheets.

Description
Accenture is preparing its own cloud environment which will be
provided to various clients to host their applications. Accenture
is taking help from some vendors to host this cloud
environment. There will be significant involvement of Business
Intelligence in this initiative. Various KPI’s related to vendor/
client data will be captured and their performance/ trends will
be displayed in various forms as per user requirements.

Description
Tata Steel is world’s seventh largest Steel company. The goal of
this project was to implement end to end customer relationship

chain management process. Some other objectives were to
achieve a 360 degree view of customer, produce analytical
reports and dashboards and ability to do what-if analysis on
some of the parameters.

6. Shell FINSEC Report Development
Description
FINSEC is an application which keeps track of the transactions
happening between Shell Nigeria and its Joint Venture partners.
The existing reports in this application are generated from a
transactional database where records were inserted using an
OLTP application. The OLTP application was operational from
1999 till 2004. It has not been used after 2004. The reports in
FINSEC are mainly used by Finance control unit and sometimes
it is used by treasury unit and vendors.
Shell Nigeria is interested in developing the existing reports
using BO XI R3.1 which should include existing 20 reports
(approx.) and should also provide facility to the users to generate
ad-hoc reports. The whole database contains about 100 tables
but these reports have been generated using 10 (approx) tables
out of these 100 tables.
