After my A-levels, being a school leaver, I joined Terry Lanka Pvt Ltd in 1986 as a 
Management Trainee. Subsequently I was promoted to the position of Management 
Executive and then became the Accountant of the Company in 1992. This Company is a 
Board of Investment approved Garment manufacturer for 100% export market. In the 
year1995, I joined Lanka Novelties Pvt Ltd as the General Manager and worked till January 
2000. This Company also a Board of Investment approved soft Toys and Rubber Toy 
manufacturer for 100% export market. 
In February 2000, I joined my present employer F.G.M. Lanka Pvt Ltd, as General Manager. 
I contributed to this company from the very beginning - the time the land was purchased, 
buildings construction, installing machines, recruiting workers, training them, commencing 
production line, obtaining export orders, exporting the goods and ultimately to make it a 
profitable business venture. In the year 2001 in appreciation of my dedication and commitment 
to my responsibilities, I was promoted as a Director of the company and endowed incentive 
shares. At present this company has a annual turn over of US dollars 11 - 12 millions and 
this is a Board of Investment approved 100% garment manufacturer for export market. 
During the past, I have traveled overseas to countries such as Germany, USA, UK, India 
and Australia for official purposes. 
I am 27 years experienced with excellent time management skills. I am a good communicator 
and I am used to working in a team whilst also being capable of using own initiatives. I am 
skilled in dealing with problems in a resourceful manner and negotiating to achieve beneficial 
agreements. I am always enthusiastic to learn and undertake new challenges.
