My Greatest Accomplishments In College
1. My Greatest Accomplishments In College
My greatest accomplishment thus far, has been getting high grades in college. Accomplishing this required: patience, dedication, tenacity, stamina, and
confidence. It took patience because there were long hours that were dedicated to homework and studying. It took dedication because I had to
continually tell myself that it would be worth it, even when it was difficult. It took tenacity because I knew that I couldn't accept anything less than my
best. It took stamina because there were a lot of late nights and just a lot of time in general to complete everything that was required of me. Lastly, it
took confidence because if I didn't believe that I could, it would have made it a million times harder.
It is important to identify and utilize

2. Goal setting is the framework for personal achievement. It is the backbone of becoming a person you desire to be. Setting and achieving personal
goals will guarantee you success. Most people who do set goals have little to no understanding of goal setting and as a result fail to achieve them and
never succeed. You would think that ifgoal setting was the ultimate skill and secret to success that everyone would develop their own personal goals
and learn to achieve them. Unfortunately, the world is not that perfect. There are six dangerous reasons people do not set and achieve their goals
which act like a road block to their success.
There are several reasons why people do not set goals similarly to why people do not care about communicating effectively. I know with absolute
certainty that everyone will experience a more successful and far enjoyable life if they learned to communicate effectively. Arguably the greatest
modern day personal development Coach, Anthony Robbins said, "The way we communicate with others and with ourselves ultimately determines the
quality of our lives." Effective communication determines the quality of your life with others while self development determines the quality of your
inner life.
The first reason I believe why people do not set goals is they do not see its importance. Like people who do not develop their communication and other
aspects of themselves, they do not see the importance of setting goals. I have met people who are unbelievably

3. Example Of My Greatest Achievement
Some of the greatest successes I have experienced during my school year were being in Honor Society, being awarded a 4.0 G.P.A medal and
being awarded the Spirit of Chelan certificate. Ever since I was in elementary school I strived to be a good student. My father was my main
motivator I wanted him to feel proud of me. After my father passed away I made him a promise to always give my best and get straight A's. When
I was awarded a 4.0 medal I felt the happiest girl alive. Not because I had gotten good grades , but because I was keeping my dad the promise I
made him . I still mark this as the greatest success in my life. The second greatest achievement was being part of Honor Society. Through Honor
Society I was able to bond with my community and meet various people. I was able to help in the Chelan Valley Hope and provide food and
resources to low income families. Lastly, being nominated and awarded for the Spirit of Chelan award. Spirit of Chelan award is awarded to a person
who shows outstanding leadership. Someone who represents the Chelan Valley responsibly and respectfully. This meant a lot to me because I felt
like I was contributing to my community in a positive way. I felt proud that all my hard work was all worth it. Some of the struggles I experience is
being able to manage my homework with helping my family financially. Currently I struggle with managing my time efficiently. After college I go and
babysit 4 kids until 10 pm. I find myself often doing my

4. I pride myself most on my achievements in scholarship; I arrived as a freshman at Mitchell thinking I was always going to be subpar in school, but
I took my first AP class anyhow. AP Human geography completely changed the way I looked at myself and how I learned in school, I was finally
understanding curriculum and I was scoring high on tests and, as sad as it may be, I was doing better in that class than my honors classes. So I made
the decision to take more...and more...and then more; needless to say I've currently taken 12 AP classes and I'm preforming better in school than ever. I
have received the title of AP Scholar with distinction after earning all 4's and 5's on my end of the year tests, I managed to bump my GPA up from

Helping others has always been a passion; I used to pretend I was a teacher in order to help my younger brother learn math, I was the youngest
volunteer at my YMCA leadership camp and it has never felt like work for me. I get a sense of happiness seeing others smile due to my effortless
acts of kindness and once I learned how easy it was to just give back to the community that is a part of me I couldn't stop. I work with grace family
church weekly (I have had to slow down due to my courses and work schedule, along with a baby brother who screams and cries every time I walk
out the door) volunteering my time to put hot food onto the plates of those in need and just talk to them while they enjoy their food. It was
extremely eye opening to see young women my age with hungry children, and people that looked just like my grandparents struggling to find a meal
every night; the services I help to provide mean so much to these people and it makes me want to keep going back when I see everyone leave with a
smile, I have made so many friends and I have seen situations that many kids my age have not become accustomed to yet and it can seriously change
one's perspective on life. Volunteering with the ecology club and even interacting with the environment on my own time has completely impacted the
things I am passionate about and this service–paired with a year in AP Environmental science– opened up an entire realm of knowledge I previously
had no idea about. Cleaning up my community and thinking up ways to raise awareness about the environment are two of my favorite things to do in
my pastime and this community service has even influenced my idea of what I would like to minor in while attending the university I chose. I never
thought I would enjoy learning about the environment but I now would like to

5. My Accomplishments In Middle School
I have several notable accomplishments, most of them are of academics. Some of the awards/accomplishments that I can recall ever since I was in
middle school are: First position on spelling contest, department award for the most Helpful student, Student of the quarter, Presidential award for
educational excellence (Gold Seal), 4.0 Honor roll, Indian Classical dance, Achieve3000 state winner, department award for "Excellence in English
Language Acquisition," and Academic Excellence Lettering Award. Among all these awards and recognition, I consider Achieve3000 to be the greatest
because it was a state level competition and was moderately competitive to win. In the Achieve3000 program, basically, an individual has to compete

6. What am I about? I am about pushing through challenges, always ariving brighter at the end of the tunnel. My visions are focused, but I leave room
for distractions in my day–to–day, intentionally or unintentionally. I am about people, and I am about doing the right thing. I am not a perfect person,
but I do believe I am a decent one. What have I already achieved? If I am correct in my interpretation, achievement does not mean just positive
accomplishments––it stands for accomplishments, period. Following this interpretation, I have accomplished both failure and success. My parents
tell me they are proud of me. My teachers tell me I will go far in life, however, the boldest assessment of one's achievements are always their own. I
know what I am capable of. From the outside it might not appear so, yet I know my weakness and thus shy away from praise. My practical positive
accomplishments include, but are not limited to: graduating from highschool as an active leader on campus in class, NHS, and ASB (associate
student body) positions, a 3.9 GPA, a two year overseas missionary, a trustworthy and dependable teacher's assistant, and a reputation that
encompasses all of this in personality characteristics. I made varsity sports as a sophomore (though that is not as "big" of an accomplishment in
academys). I have an excellent grip on what I want for my future. I know what I am capable of; therefore, I know when I do not rise above what is
required of me. I majored in minimums in

7. One of the unusual circumstances which have affected my personal achievement in school was during my freshman year. During my first year of
high school, I missed the first two and half weeks of school and my grades were greatly affected. I started out with really low grades, but I worked my
way up to receiving five A's, one B, and one C. I was still very disappointed in myself because I ended up receiving a C in math. I didn't really get the
chance to go get help after school because I didn't have a ride after school. Before school the teacher wasn't available. That was the only time during
high school when I received such a low grade and I wish I could have the chance to fix this.

8. Application Essay To Graduate High School
In June of 2015, I achieved my greatest personal achievement to date; I graduated high school. Graduations are a rite of passage in our culture.
Hallmark even has an entire section of cards dedicated to the occasion. For me personally, graduating high school ignited an orb of hope and positivity
within me that allows me to reflect upon the numerous years of my education as a journey with both peaks and valleys. High school was a valley that
required me to attain new levels of determination and perseverance. I can vividly remember running up to my guidance counselor after the ceremony
to thank her and just repeating, " I did it!" in a state of euphoria or incredulity at my own accomplishment. For most of my high school career I did not
believe that I would live to see the class of 2015 graduate let alone graduate with them.
Following the sense of pride my high school graduation instilled in me, I made a decision to go to college with purpose and began truly envisioning
and planning for my future. It was after I graduated high school that I decided upon becoming a teacher. A lot of this decision stemmed from my
thoughts on graduation night. I remember thinking of the teachers who supported and shaped me throughout my education. I remembered my third
grade teacher who once told me in secret that I was one of her most talented students and helped me to recognize my own abilities. I remembered my
strict Spanish teacher in high school who pushed me to focus on my

9. In life, we face challenges that shape us into the individuals we are today. Rather they are large, or miniscule, taking on our failures allow us to later
earn success in the future. My personal experience with this dates back to sophomore year. Within a six month frame between November and May, I
was able to set both my body and mind to the test. One of my biggest accomplishments thus far is the time that I completed the Pittsburgh Half
Marathon. As a whole, my family has always carried an interest in personal fitness and athletics throughout their lives. Today, this is thought to be a
primary passion of mine however it was not as a child. Growing up, I was urged to participate in athletics but none ever caught my eye. I usually
swayed towards musical instruments including the saxophone and piano. However, this all changed the month of November when I participated in
The Greensburg Annual Turkey Trot. Although I did the race for pleasure rather than a competition, I had not expected to do so poorly. Out of the
three miles, I could hardly finish one without bending over in complete and utter exhaustion. My friend, hardly out of breathe, urged me to keep
going as I fell behind. A rush of disappointment and embarrassment came over me as I finished the race, walking the remainder of the way. At the end
of the finish line, I came to the conclusion that below mediocrity was unacceptable. I had always pushed myself to the best of my abilities with
academics, even in my

What's mine is yours. Having lived a year in a student hostel I understood this phrase was the best to describe my first year student life. We shared
everything: all of bright spots, all of difficult moments, all of the books and all of the cakes. My roommates are my best friends now and I trust
them as I would myself. I believe amazing adventures and close friendship are waiting for us too! Also I believe, my dear roommate, you'll get at least
one new hobby living with me. I promise I'll share to you with my frenzy for mountains. Oh, that's really amazing! I'm a participant of the university

means that a person is very important for me and I'm happy when he or she is happy too. I think there is no person who doesn't like music and I'm not
an exception. I play the piano and the guitar in my spare time. I've tried to compose music, but it emerged that it wasn't my strength.
One of my goals is to transform Kazakhstan into popular tourist destination. There are a lot of exciting places in my country kazakhstanians and
people of the world don't know about. That's why I participate in different academic researches and conferences. For example, last year I've written
My motto is "Whatever happens is for the best". I really believe that. And this belief always helps me to overcome some difficulties. In tight
situations, I prefer to elicit positive sides and forget about negative ones. And it works! When my parents divorced and everything seemed to me
terrible, especially my mom's new boyfriend, I told myself: "My mother was unhappy last years of her marriage, she gave to me and to my sister
everything she had. She is the nearest and the dearest person for us in the whole world. So, my mom deserves to be really happy." And my mother's
boyfriend became a new member of our family, he's great, I really loved him. I'm happy to see my mother's eyes radiating love and joy.

11. "True motivation comes from achievement, personal development, job satisfaction, and recognition" (Fredrick Herzberg). Based on the fulfilment an
individual contains towards their work is job satisfaction. The productivity could either be positive or negative while the relationship between the
productivity and satisfaction may not be consistent. There are multiple internal and external factors of job satisfaction that can impact the behavior of

This happens when money is the only motivation or if they're trying to obtain an upcoming promotion. Others try to improve their productivity due to
only the satisfaction they can obtain from their effort socially. Including, another motive may also come from a decent wage. This not only develops
the job satisfaction, but gives the member of staff understanding of the fact that they get rewarded for their labor and contributions. To motivate more
employees, the management should compromise more opportunities. In addition, empowerment is a factor that can motivate others into enhancing
their work productivity. Human empowerment leads to the job satisfaction. When management gives an employee the opportunity to work based off of
their own standards, this amounts up to those in the company, resulting in the job productivity increasing. Based off of the work environment, this
could possibly improve an employee's attitude, depending off of the multiple employees, the management and the available resources that's provided.
When the organization provides for their employee needs then their productivity will progress. The business or corporation performance and profits
guarantee that employees will receive their salary frequently and fairly. As for the physicians, when the performance is thriving, then the corporations
are pleased. The worthy performance gives the organization a positive attitude that improves their individual performance. As job satisfaction

13. My Greatest Accomplishment : My Family
My Greatest Accomplishment My Family Traditions come and go, but some may never change. Most families attempt to keep their traditions alive in
their family, whether is it be to do something small like names or something major such as huge celebrations for certain holidays. A tradition that
numerous of families seems to keep around, no matter their religion or country, is family dinners on a set day. This allows the families to spend this
day with each other, learning how everyone's week is going, if there is anything that needs done, or if there is any positive or negative news. A
local family has a traditional family night dinner on Sundays. They keep in touch throughout the week, but on Sundays they are able to see each
other face to face. Slowly, the three girls, Emily, Samantha, and Allison, are taking over cooking the meals. Their parents, grandparents, and uncles
are all pitching in to help the girls learn how to properly cook various foods such as hulushki, halupki, homemade pasta, and desserts like cannolis.
They are keeping with the tradition of making food to represent their heritage of being Polish and Italian. Other ways the Zaremba's represent their
Italian heritage is by having the Feast of Seven Fish before Christmas. This tradition is to have seven dishes of fish for Christmas Eve dinner; the
fish can vary from type of fish or if it is cooked in a certain way. Also "fish" entitles all seafood not just fish. This symbolizes a healthy Christmas. You
are required to fast, not eat, the week before ridding yourself of harmful ingredients like too much sugar.
Birth Announcement Denise and Chris Zaremba welcomed their third daughter into the world at 4:51 pm September 29, 2001. She weighed 7lbs and
9 oz. Her sisters aren't the happiest about having to deal with a younger sibling, but the rest of the family is astounded to have another baby in the
family.

14. Essay On Academic Achievement
Throughout my academic career, it has always been my mission to perform at my best ability. I did this not only for myself, but also for my family
and friends who put their faith in my capacity to achieve success. It was my family that raised me to be family–oriented and to give my spare time to
those that may need my help. By applying for the Delta Epsilon Sigma Honor Society, I am continuing to strive for the highest level of excellence
possible in academics and service to the community.
Through my grades and persistence, I have proven that academic excellence is a pivotal part of my education. I believe that I have achieved
outstanding academic achievement through my ongoing evolution as a student, my motivation to better myself, and my desire for success. From
freshman year to junior year, I have evolved and changed in order to learn more effectively and perform better inside and outside of the classroom.
The dynamics of college classes are far different from what I had experienced in high school. This required me to adapt to the higher level of
thinking that was expected from me. Since freshman year of college, I have actively sought out new study methods in order to understand classroom
material. I realized that simply memorizing the material for one test would not be beneficial to me in my future career of nursing, so I began to
actively understand the material. Adapting to the higher level of education I have received in college has helped me become a more

16. My Personal Goals Essay
As a child and even as a teenager one tends to make dreams and set goals for life. On occasion these goals are far stretched and sometimes even
fairy–tale like, we tend to see life through a rose–colored glass, not taking into account the many sidetracks life throws our way. At that stage in life
our goals tend to be less focused and somewhat unreachable. However, the process of growing up, or maturing, tends organized and center our goals,
we learn to make compromises and set goals for our goals. There are different types of goals, short term and long term. I have learned to separate the
many goals I have into three main categories: family, professional and personal.

I have planned monthly individual date nights with my children, so that they can have my undivided attention for a certain period of time.
The second family short term goal takes into account my marriage. In order to raise happy and healthy children, a happy and healthy relationship with
one's spouse is paramount. In order to achieve this goal my husband and I have decided to also dedicate more time for the two of us. For the next
year we have made an agreement to take at least one vacation together, so that we may increase the bond that brought us together. We have also
decided that for the next three year we will spend Holidays as a family so that we may create our own family traditions, we will do whatever is in our
power to spend Holidays together, that includes not working or making other plans with the rest of our immediate families.
On many occasions my personal goals have come before my professional aspirations. A career in the medical field has always been something I
have looked forward to. As a child I wanted and dreamed of being a doctor, however due to the choices I made in life and the priorities that I had
not thought of, I have come to realize that my childhood dream may not come true. Yet, I was able to compromise and make short and long term
goals that will lead me into a career in the medical field. My long term goal is to enter the medical field world and be a respected contributor to it. I
want to be able to help others in the time of need. In
