PERSONAL STATEMENT
I am a dependable, hardworking individual who is driven and always aims to complete every task
undertaken to the highest standard possible. I have a keen interest in business and, through hard work and
commitment, graduated from Teesside University with a degree in Business Management which has
broadened my knowledge. I am now keen to take the academic knowledge, gained throughout my degree
and translate it into in the workplace. As a people orientated person I quickly build and maintain strong
relationships and work very well in a team.
KEY ACHIEVEMENTS
In year 11 I was nominated a prefect and was given the privilege and responsibility of ensuring the younger
children were settling into the school environment.
In the same year I was also a part of my schools Young Enterprise Team, we established our own business
Noir, creating box cards; winning the local area competition competing against eight other schools. During
this competition, as Sales Director, I oversaw the creation and retail of the team’s products; thereby
providing a small income for everyone involved.
Taking up running has taught me self-discipline and the importance of establishing personal goals.
WORK HISTORY

Proposals Engineer at TAG Energy Solutions Limited.
As a proposals engineer my main duties include being responsible for reviewing any invitation to tenders,
ensuring all required documentation was provided by the client, working with my colleagues and line
manager to determine whether or not the work was within our scope and collating information to build a
proposal, all for large offshore projects in both the wind and oil and gas sectors. Other duties include
updating all relevant procurement and vendor databases such as FPAL, SELLICHA, UVDB and JQS,
updating the Salesforce database with contacts, opportunities and updates on all submitted tenders provided
through client feedback. As part of my role I was also responsible for ensuring all previous tender
information was up to date included post tender communication, clarifications and general feedback and also
that all pre-qualification questionnaires were completed on time and submitted. Alongside this I was also

responsible for the marketing of TAG, attending exhibitions and communicating with potential new clients. I
was also involved in the design of new marketing material, working with 3rd party companies to build a
better marketing strategy to improve the company. My role as a proposals engineer has allowed me to
develop a large range of skills and also learn new ones including proposal writing. I have been able to
improve upon my excellent communication skills through liaising with colleagues and clients and have
managed to build and maintain many strong relationships. The role also allowed me to develop a better
understanding on how to market a company and learn about reaching out to the customer.
During the summers of 2010 and 2011 I worked voluntarily as a gardener and landscaper. My main duties
included cutting grass and hedges, clearing up and also assisting with landscaping grounds.

currently learning to jetski and windsurf.
I will also be volunteering at my running club to help the youngster’s progress in their running as I now have
UK Athletics Assistant Coaching License.
