The author has known their best friend Qiana since third grade when they lived in the same neighborhood and were always together playing. They were separated for 7-8 years when Qiana moved away to the city, making the author feel sad and lonely. During their 11th grade year in early childhood education lab, they realized they knew each other from Becker Elementary and reconnected their friendship. The author feels Qiana is like a sister, always being there for support when needed to talk, vent or lean on, and is glad God put Qiana in their life.
